Butão é um pequeno e fechado reino nos Himalaias, encravado entre a China e a Índia.

Neste país é hasteado bandeiras coloridas com mensagens e acredita-se que estas são enviadas pelo vento.

Inspirados na cultura de Butão, os alunos do 9o ano e 1a. série do Ensino Médio criaram suas little flags com poemas em Inglês, Português e Espanhol.

You were so charming and good

I couldn't resist you

But you didn't know all of my thoughts

So all of the things were unsaid

Hi everybody !
We are from Turkey and Ankara is the capital city of it, but I live in Istanbul and here is metropolis. Turkey has gorgeous sandy beaches along its Aegean, Mediterranean and Black Sea coasts. There are are lots of people and many working areas here. Every year many people migrate to Istanbul to find a job I would like to show you where Turkiye is in the map.


As Turkey is covered with seas, the climate is very warm. We have sunny and hot Summers; and rainy and sometimes snowy Winters.

MAIDEN’S TOWER is one of the attraction. It is located in the middle of the sea. One of the girl was locked by his father. His father wanted to protect her from the evil things, so it became a legend. Now, People go and eat something there because there is a good restaurant there. It is also a romantic place



It is one of the famous mosque in Istanbul



These are the pictures of famous Bosphorus Bridge. We colour and decorate it during festivals and New Year.

• What is your full name? My full name is Dorothy Evelyn Lane. My family and friends call me by my nickname..Dottie.

• How old are you? I am 53 years old.

• How are you? I am so excited thinking about my up coming trip to Brazil.

• What is your city? I live in a small mountain town in Southern California. The town name is Big Bear Lake, and during the winter we get snow.

• What is your favorite food? I think on of my favorite food is pizza. I understand there is some GREAT pizza in Brazil.

• What is the American typical food? ?Typical American foods are hamburgers; french fries; pizza; and a lot of Mexican foods such as tacos and burritos.

• What are your holidays? What do you celebrate? Of course we celebrate Christmas; Easter and New Years, which I believe are also celebrated in Brazil. We also celebrate our Independence Day on July 4th; Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday of November; and a favorite with school kids here....Halloween, October 31st. For the past two Christmases I have been lucky to host several Brazilian college students for Christmas Eve. It has been such a joy getting to know them.

• What are your schools like? There are several different types of schools in California, but generally Public and Private Schools. Children begin school at age 5, and stay in elementary school until they are 10-11 years old which is the 6th grade. Some schools only go to the 5th grade, and then grades 6, 7 and 8 are all together in middle school. That is what we have here in Big Bear.

Hello!

Thanks a lot for the letter! Brazil is very hot in summer, and cold in winter, now it is very cold because it is winter. I like cold and summer, in Brazil has many beaches to go in summer days :) I don’t like to write too, really! Life is very bored…we need to go out and not stay at home. My school is very big ,I like it ,the class starts at 7:40 a.m. and finishes at 12:10 p.m.
Do you have lunch in your school? Come here to Brazil in winter…in summer is very hot. Is in Turkey cold? What kind of clothes do you wear? What’s your religion? What time does start your school? And finishes? Is your school similar to American school?
